Chiron Financial Recognized With Multiple Turnaround Awards; Announces Personnel News

Chiron Financial LLC was recognized with multiple awards at the Global M&A Network's 10th Annual Turnaround Atlas Awards Ceremony, held in New York City in July. including Out of Court Restructuring of the Year and Corporate Turnaround of the Year. The awards recognize excellence in the insolvency, distressed M&A and turnaround communities.

Alban Meteyer Named Head of European Headquarters

Alban Meteyer has been chosen to lead Chiron's new European headquarters office in Paris which executes opportunities in an increasingly connected global market.

"Given his experience and significant contributions to the firm, Alban is the best choice to lead this exciting new branch," said Managing Director Jay Krasoff. "With our cross-border experience, global network and multinational staff, we are well-positioned to offer exceptional perspectives to companies seeking investment banking and financial advisory services, as well as to investors seeking opportunity." Meteyer is responsible for new business development covering the France, United Kingdom, Germany and Benelux markets. He has structured and executed transactions, including restructuring, capital raising and M&A advisory.

New Analyst on Board
  
Also, John Allcorn recently joined Chiron Financial as an Analyst, responsible for leading financing, sale, and financial advisory assignments. Responsibilities include review and analysis of the client's business, preparation of marketing materials, managing contacts and dialogue with prospective investors and buyers, and oversight of documentation leading to closing. Prior to joining Chiron Financial, Allcorn was a Strategic Planning Intern with Cheniere Energy where he analyzed natural gas opportunities in the Permian Basin to transport to Sabine Pass, and developed cost analyses.

Hass Earned CTP Designation
  
Separately, Todd Hass, Chiron Director, has earned the Certified Turnaround Professional designation from the Turnaround Management Association. The CTP designation provides an objective measure and recognition of expertise related to workouts, restructurings and corporate renewal. Applicants must meet specific standards of education and experience as well as successfully complete a rigorous examination that covers financial and managerial accounting and tax, turnaround and crisis management, and bankruptcy and UCC law. Hass is responsible for leading client transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, private debt and equity placements, and financial restructurings.

Associate Greg Caraway has left the firm to assume a new role as an Associate for Stellus Capital Management in Houston, Texas.
