Hilco Industrial Joins JV to Auction Late-Model CNC Machining & Fabricating Equipment

Hilco Industrial, in partnership with Machinery Network Auctions and Resell CNC, have announced that its joint venture group will conduct a live onsite and webcast auction on October 9 (10:00 am ET) of late-model, high-precision CNC machining and fabricating equipment.

The featured machining equipment includes Mazak & Haas CNC horizontal & vertical machining centers – as new as 2016, a Mazak Integrex CNC mill/turn center, and a CNC bridge mill. The metal fabrication equipment features Trumpf fiber and 5-axis lasers, a Trumpf turret punch, a 350-ton hydraulic 4-post press, a Grotnes ring expander, (2) waterjet cutters, and a Trumpf 6-axis press brake. The facility also has machine tools, coordinate measuring machines, robotic welding cells and a large quantity of welding equipment.                              

Support equipment from the facility will be sold at a second Online Only Auction (October 4 - 11) and includes tool holders, tool chests, perishable tooling, accessories, vises, hand tools, grinders, storage cabinets, material handling and more.

The live and webcast auction will be held at 10 Old Webster Road, Oxford, Massachusetts. The equipment can be inspected on Monday, October 8 between 8 am and 4 pm ET. Complete details about the auctions and lot catalogs of the equipment are available at https://www.hilcoind.com/sale/technetics.

Through the combination of seven of the world’s best-known sealing and critical component design and manufacturing businesses comes Technetics Group. Technetics Group Oxford, which was known as Fabrico Inc., when it was acquired in 2014, manufactured components for the combustion, fuel nozzle and hot path sections of industrial gas and steam turbines. The parent company has decided to close the Oxford, MA, facility.
