AlixPartners, the global consulting firm, announced that Elton Ndoma-Ogar has joined the firm as Director of Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) for the Americas and Asia, a newly-created role.

Elton joins the firm’s D&I Center of Excellence to play a key role in helping to establish AlixPartners as a best-in-class organization for inclusion and improving efforts to attract, develop, and retain diverse employees in the two regions. He will work closely with the firm’s Employee Resource Group (ERG) Leader to further integrate the ERGs into business-as-usual activities and with colleagues across the People function to embed D&I in all aspects of our work. In addition, Elton will be an advocate to share our commitment to D&I with the market.

Prior to joining AlixPartners, Elton served as Director of D&I for Raytheon’s Intelligence, Information, and Services business unit working closely with HR and senior leadership to design and implement the D&I strategy. Previously, he was with BP in Houston and Merrill Lynch in New York, where he held senior roles in D&I. Elton received a Bachelor of Science degree from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC, and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business in Durham, NC.

“It is a great pleasure to welcome Elton to the team,” said Cindy Godwin, Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Social Responsibility at AlixPartners. “As we continue to evolve and strengthen our commitment to both inclusion and diversity, Elton’s depth and breadth of experience will enhance the work of our existing leadership to promote the inclusion of all colleagues and build deeper layers of diversity across two very important regions.”

Don Schneider, Chief People Officer at AlixPartners, added, “At AlixPartners we value the diversity of our people and the strength of our distinctive culture. Earlier this year, we created the firm’s first Center of Excellence for D&I, and Elton’s appointment is a further step in our commitment to foster a work environment in which each of us feels welcomed and valued. This enables us to continue to attract diverse talent and makes us a better partner with our clients.”
