Huron Consulting Group announced that it has established Huron Transaction Advisory LLC to provide broker-dealer, corporate finance and investment banking services to new and existing clients.

“Combined with our existing platform of services, our broker-dealer capabilities make Huron a single-source provider for a comprehensive suite of business consulting and transaction advisory services. We can now help clients address capital-raising needs, targeted acquisition and divestiture strategies, or restructuring solutions, provided by a team of seasoned investment banking professionals,” said John DiDonato, managing director and Huron Business Advisory practice leader.

The broker-dealer capabilities will be delivered in key verticals including business services, healthcare, industrial manufacturing, life sciences, and retail/consumer products. Huron Transaction Advisory will help clients address needs related to strategy, performance improvement, mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, balance sheet restructuring, and valuation. Huron Transaction Advisory will focus initially on serving middle-market clients including healthy or distressed organizations and those facing special situations.

Huron Transaction Advisory is a registered broker-dealer with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and a member of FINRA/SIPC. Managing directors participating in the practice include Geoffrey Frankel, John Bodine and David Bitterman.

Huron Transaction Advisory LLC brings extensive investment banking expertise to stakeholders in merger and acquisition advisory, growth initiatives, and special situation financings as they seek to maximize value. Huron’s broker-dealer services are part of the Huron Business Advisory segment.
