Capital One Expands Dallas Commercial Banking Group

Capital One announced it has added experienced local banker René Kiehn to its Commercial Banking group in Dallas.

Kiehn is a Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager and reports to Kent Eastman, Capital One’s Commercial Banking Manager for Texas. With 16 years of banking experience, Kiehn will serve the financial needs of large corporations headquartered in Dallas and other North Texas communities.

“With the addition of René, we continue to strengthen our Dallas Commercial Banking group at Capital One,” said Eastman, who also serves as Capital One Dallas Market President. “Our clients and our team will benefit from René’s deep understanding of corporate and investment banking.”

Kiehn joins Capital One from BBVA Compass, Dallas, where he was a senior vice president in the commercial banking group. Earlier he served for three years as a partner with TurnPoint Capital Partners in Dallas and nine years as a vice president with JPMorgan Securities, Inc. in Dallas and Houston.

A native of Berlin, Germany, Kiehn received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Southern Methodist University.
