Wells Fargo Capital Finance announced two new regional managers for the consumer products and retail division of its Commercial Services Group, which specializes in factoring and accounts receivables management. Brian Martin has been named regional manager of the Southeast and Midwest and Julie Acuff has been named regional manager for the Northeast, and both will be reporting to Kevin Gillespie, Executive Vice President, Commercial Services Group for Wells Fargo Capital Finance.

“I am excited to grow and expand our team with Brian and Julie, who have made a great impact since joining Wells Fargo,” stated Gillespie. “As the factoring business grows, we needed to adjust our structure to meet the needs of our customers and position us for the future.”

Acuff joined Wells Fargo Capital Finance in 2012. She has more than 12 years of factoring and asset-based lending experience, most recently as underwriting manager for Commercial Services Group. Previously, Acuff was the northeast underwriting manager at The CIT Group/Commercial Services. She received her bachelor’s degree in business management from St. Francis College and her master’s degree in business administration and finance from Long Island University.

Martin joined Wells Fargo in May 2005 and assisted in establishing the first Commercial Services Group office in the Southeast. With over 30 years of industry experience, Martin held senior management, relationship management, and business development positions with Action Capital Corporation, Wachovia Bank of Georgia, SouthTrust Bank of Atlanta and Citizens & Southern Bank. Martin’s association and community involvement includes active involvement in and support of the school associations for Heards Ferry Elementary, Ridgeview Charter School, Riverwood International Charter High School, Mill Springs Academy, New Hampton School, and The University of the South. Martin holds a B.A. degree in history from The University of the South and an M.B.A with a concentration in finance from the University of Georgia.
