Capital One Appoints Town to Middle-Market Commercial Banking Team in Louisiana

Capital One announced that George W. Town, Jr., has joined the bank’s Middle Market Commercial Banking team in Louisiana as a Senior Vice President and Relationship Manager. In this role, Town provides commercial banking services and solutions to Capital One’s middle-market clients located in greater Baton Rouge. He reports to Ric Kearny, Senior Vice President and Southwest Louisiana Commercial Banking Manager.

“George has extensive commercial banking experience and a deep knowledge of the greater Baton Rouge market that will serve our middle-market clients well,” said Kearny.

Town joins the middle-market banking team from his prior role at Capital One as a senior vice president and relationship manager in Capital One’s Baton Rouge-based Commercial Dealer Services division. Most recently, he managed a portfolio of accounts and developed Commercial Dealer relationships in Louisiana and Mississippi, financing dealership acquisitions, construction projects and floorplans for car dealership owners. He has ten years of commercial banking experience, all with Capital One.
