Martinez Joins Amerisource as Regional Market Manager

Amerisource Funding, one of the largest and fastest growing independent commercial finance companies in the country, welcomes Daniel Martinez as its newest Regional Market Manager.

Martinez is assisting in business development efforts in the Southwest region and is based in the Houston corporate office. His primary responsibilities include securing direct business, building and maintaining bank relationships, and working with the company’s referral source base.

“Daniel comes to us with an extensive background in banking and finance, a deep history of customer relationships and a sincere desire to succeed,” said Elliot Smith, national sales director. “We’re excited to welcome Daniel to Amerisource and look forward to him helping expand our financing services throughout the Southwest region. He will be a valuable asset on our business development team and a great resource for our perspective clients.”

With over 10 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry, Martinez most recently served as a Business Development Manager at a commercial finance company in southwest Texas. He started out as a teller at JP Morgan Chase and quickly rose to sales manager. From there he transitioned to a tenure as Branch Manager for BBVA Compass Banks.
