Sandor Jacobson Joins Plante Moran’s Restructuring and Transformation Practice

Plante Moran, one of the nation’s largest public accounting and business advisory firms, announced that Sandor Jacobson has joined the firm as a principal in its restructuring and transformation practice.

Jacobson, who will work from the firm’s Chicago office, specializes in helping companies solve financial challenges by assisting with improving their top and bottom lines, better managing growth, leveraging resources and mitigating costs and risks. In his new role, he’ll work with clients in a variety of industries while also focusing on growing Plante Moran’s restructuring and transformation practice in Chicago.

“We’re thrilled to have Sandor join our firm,” said Tim Weed, leader of Plante Moran’s restructuring and transformation practice. “He has a strong ability to not only help companies identify business challenges, but to provide and implement workable solutions.”

Prior to joining Plante Moran, Jacobson was a senior financial consultant at Abrams & Jossel Consulting, where he managed restructuring and crisis management engagements throughout the Midwest.

Jacobson holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin and is a Certified Public Accountant. Active in his profession, he is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Illinois Society of CPAs, the Turnaround Management Association, the Association for Corporate Growth, and the Commercial Finance Association

Jacobson resides in Riverwoods his wife and three children.
