RMP Trade Credit Closes More Than $7.3MM in Purchase Order Facilities in 2013

Since RMP Capital’s newly formed Purchase Order Financing Company, RMP Trade Credit, was created in 2012 it has been gaining a lot of momentum in the industry. Richard Eitelberg, director of business development at RMP Trade Credit, and his team have been off to good start in 2013 by funding eight transactions totaling over $7.3 million in purchase order facilities. The transactions include:

  • $1 million a month Purchase Order Facility for an importer of licensed and patented promotional products. The customers are well known large retail chains. RMP Trade Credit is buying the merchandise on Letters of Credit and a factor in New York is financing the A/R on the transaction.
  • $125,000 Purchase Order Facility for a startup designer making high end clothing. Company designed clothes for prominent clothing stores and now has decided to go into business on their own. Accounts Receivable will be financed by factor in Illinois.
  • $225,000 Purchase Order Facility for an importer of Perfume in Chicago area. They will be selling to small retail stores and distributors. Factoring company in Texas will be financing their Accounts Receivable.
  • $1 million Purchase Order Facility for aircraft engines for client in Seattle. Through domestic wires, RMP Trade Credit will secure the products for major airlines. Deal was brought to RMPTC directly from client. A well-known factor in California will serve as the takeout.
  • $1.8 million Purchase Order Facility for a Massachusetts company that buys and rents temporary roads for large electric companies during repairs. A Massachusetts company is financing their Accounts Receivable.
  • $2.1 million Purchase Order Facility for a manufacturer of pool products in Arkansas. Product is being sold to a prominent big box store with the payout being a Line of Credit from the Big Box Store.
  •  $100,000 Purchase Order Facility for a footwear designer in Virginia. The facility is for a start-up company and the orders are from small specialty stores throughout the USA.  A factoring company in Texas will serve as the takeout.
  • $1 million Purchase Order Facility per month for a manufacturer of apparel that is based in the Dominican Republic. The manufacturer produces athletic apparel for men, women and children. The customers are well- known distributers and licensed product throughout the USA and Canada. A factoring company in New York will serve as the takeout.

RMP Trade Credit is an Islandia, NY based company with the ability to fund transactions between $5K-5M both domestically and internationally.
