Baartmans Named Managing Director for Supply Chain Finance

Wells Fargo Capital Finance announced today that Dave Baartmans has been named managing director for the Supply Chain Finance sales team, moving from a prior role in Wells Fargo’s International Global Banking team. In his role, Baartmans will lead and manage the Supply Chain Finance sales team for the Supplier Finance and Sales Finance (including Key Accounts Purchase and Portfolio Purchase) programs.

“Dave’s depth of experience in the business makes him a great addition to the team,” said Steve Elson, managing director and team leader, Supply Chain Finance. “He is an experienced professional and he will be a valuable asset to our team.  I am excited to expand on his proven ability to provide working capital solutions to customers and prospects.”
   
Baartmans joined Wells Fargo in 2007 as the Eastern U.S. & Canada Regional Sales Manager for the Receivables Funding Group. Most recently, he has served as both Regional and National Sales Manager for Wells Fargo Global Banking. In his 22 years in banking, Baartmans has successfully originated or led origination teams across several areas including AR securitizations, receivables purchase, asset-based lending, international credit, structured trade, trade finance, export and import inventory finance, supply chain finance, and EXIM guaranteed finance.
 
Baartmans holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and an M.B.A. from Michigan State University. He has served in the military as a member of the U.S. Army Infantry and Michigan National Guard.
