Cedar Croft Consulting Expands Staff and Web Presence

Cedar Croft Consulting, a management consulting established to assist mid-market clients in the manufacturing, distribution, retail and service provider industry sectors located throughout North America, provides value-added services including due diligence, performance enhancement, strategic planning, financial restructuring and all aspects of corporate renewal including reorganization and interim management.

Ray Kieliszak heads Cedar Croft Consulting’s new Upstate New York office. Kieliszak is a senior executive with over 25 years’ experience in leading operations through start-up, turnaround, multiple strategic plans, and implementation to improve profitability and efficiency. After a ten-year career at General Motors, he developed a niche for providing advisory services to small to medium sized businesses, primarily those that were private equity and family-owned. Kieliszak’s blend of hands-on operations experience. combined with financial understanding and industrial engineering skills, as well as executive leadership at multiple businesses provides an excellent addition to the Cedar Croft brand.

His broad experience will be a benefit to all our clients, and his presence in Rochester, NY positions us to better serve our clients and referral source in this geographic market that is very important to our firm.” says Patrick Walsh, CEO and founder, Cedar Croft Consulting.

The Cedar Croft business model also depends on referrals to work with middle-market companies that are in financial difficulties. These companies are usually in some element of default or heading towards default. Existing lenders may enter into forbearance agreements with these companies in addition of providing a list of consulting firms that are acceptable to the lender. The company will then interview and decide which firm on this list it will engage with. “It is my job to ensure that Cedar Croft Consulting is included on that list,” says Walsh.

Other new additions to Cedar Croft Consulting include a new website and blog as well as a new and increased social media presence on Twitter, Linkedin and Google+. According to Walsh, the goal for the Cedar Croft Consulting brand to is not only expand physical reach, but also drive more and better online conversations about business restructuring, turnaround consulting, crisis management and more.

The core of Cedar Croft’s professional acumen is its knowledge of current best practices. As seasoned consultants with extensive experience gained in a variety of industries, Cedar Croft professionals have decades of professional consulting experience in the disciplines of finance, sales and marketing, manufacturing and operations, and information technology. The Cedar Croft team has extensive turnaround management experience, having served in either a Crisis Management, Chief Restructuring Officer, or other court appointed designated role, and possesses familiarity with all aspects of U.S. and Canadian bankruptcy proceedings.
