Stephens Adds Specialty Finance Analyst to Equity Research Team

Stephens Inc., an independent, full-service investment banking firm, continues to grow its equity research team with the hiring of Vincent Caintic as Senior Specialty Finance Analyst effective September 27. In this role he will build upon Stephens’ expertise in middle market non-bank lenders, and introduce coverage of commercial finance, aircraft and equipment lessors and credit card companies. Caintic will be based in New York. Stephens has 32 analysts covering more than 500 stocks across the sectors of consumer, energy, financial services, healthcare, industrials and technology.

Caintic has 10-plus-years of experience covering financial services with a focus on specialty finance, banks, and insurance. During his recent tenure as an analyst and Associate Director of Research at Macquarie, he launched coverage of 18 specialty finance companies totaling more than $200 billion in market capitalization. Earlier sell-side experience includes equity research roles with Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo.
