Date: Sep 28, 2018 @ 07:00 AM

EnerBank USA®, the national consumer lender that helps strategic business partners and independent home improvement contractors increase their sales, announced the appointment of Robb Kerry to a new position as executive vice president, chief credit officer & enterprise risk officer. In his new role, Kerry is responsible for all aspects of consumer and commercial credit risk within the bank’s portfolio of unsecured home improvement loans. Additionally, he will assume responsibility for creating and developing an enterprise risk management program. He joined EnerBank in 2015 as senior vice president and chief credit officer.
“Robb’s depth of experience and knowledge of our business is critical to EnerBank’s continued success in our work with both strategic business partners and independent home remodeling contractors,” said Charlie Knadler, president and CEO. “His excellent work since 2015 makes this promotion well earned.”

Prior to joining EnerBank, Kerry served at GE Capital Bank, where he spent five years leading the modeling and quantitative risk team, as well as overseeing all aspects of credit modeling and portfolio stress testing. He also held positions of chief credit officer at both ADB Bank and Cache Valley Bank. Kerry began his banking career as a financial examiner for the Utah Department of Financial Institutions, where he reviewed state-chartered financial institutions for safety and banking soundness in cooperation with the FDIC, NCUA, and FRB.

Kerry holds a bachelor of arts in business administration and Spanish from Weber State University and earned a master of business administration from the same institution. Additionally, he has earned the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst.
