Avidbank Adds Strength to its Specialty Finance Division

Avidbank Holdings, Inc., a bank holding company and the parent company of Avidbank, announced today that two accomplished lending professionals have joined the Bank.

Mounir Gad has joined the Bank as Senior Vice President, Market Manager, of the Specialty Finance Division. His previous experience includes Crestline Investors, Inc., an institutional alternative investment management firm, as well as Silicon Valley Bank where he spent 11 years in a variety of roles including leadership positions focused on the technology, venture capital, and private equity ecosystem.

An active member of his community, Mounir was previously Director of Adonal Foyle’s Kerosene Lamp Foundation and currently volunteers with Best Buddies International. He is a member of the Silicon Valley Venture Capital & Private Equity Association. Mounir holds a BS in Business Administration degree with Honors in Finance and Economics from St. Mary's College, where he played basketball and was a Member and organizer of Saint Mary's Business Club. After graduation, he studied abroad at the American University of Sharjah in Mumbai.

Kevin Conway also joins the Bank in the Specialty Finance Division as Senior Vice President, Relationship Manager. He brings over 20 years of experience working with entrepreneurs and management teams of Venture Capital and Private Equity backed technology companies interested in leveraging strategic debt as a growth driver for their business. Most recently, Kevin was Senior Vice President and Manager of Technology Lending at HomeStreet Bank, and has an extensive network of relationships, and management-level experience, with organizations such as Square 1 Bank, City National Bank, US Bank, Bridge Bank, and Silicon Valley Bank.

Kevin received his BS in Economics from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Kevin is also active in the community, volunteering for the Stroke Awareness Foundation.
