Encina Business Credit, LLC (EBC) announced that Tracy Salyers and John Whetstone have been named Executive Vice Presidents and Co-Heads of Portfolio responsible for leading all facets of account and relationship management. Ms. Salyers brings over 25 years of experience in all facets of secured lending, including field exam, underwriting, special assets management, and portfolio management. Before joining Encina, Tracy was a member of the ABL teams at The Huntington National Bank and Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, among others. She also brings public accounting knowledge from her time at Deloitte & Touche. She will be based out of Chicago.

Mr. Whetstone, who is also based in Chicago, is a secured lending veteran, having over 25 years of experience across industries including consumer, factoring and asset-based lending.  Before Encina, John held leadership positions at Gibraltar Financial Corporation, Bank of America, and Huntington National Bank.

Launched in March 2016, EBC is an independent asset-based lending platform targeting middle-market borrowers in the U.S. and Canada. The firm provides revolving lines of credit and term loans ranging in size from $10–$100 million and secured by accounts receivable, inventory, machinery & equipment and real estate.
