Wells Fargo Capital Finance Promotes Originators in Key Markets

Wells Fargo Capital Finance announced the promotions of Christian Conroy and Andrew Phillips. Conroy will be responsible for originating senior secured loans for Corporate Finance within the Southwestern U.S. market and Phillips will be responsible for originating senior secured loans for Corporate Finance within the New England market.

Conroy joined Wells Fargo seven years ago and became part of Capital Finance in 2010 as a graduate of the Credit Management Training Program (CMTP). CMTP is a five-month training program offered to strong, talented candidates within Wells Fargo that focuses on building credit and business development skills. Conroy’s most recent position as a Senior Loan Originations Associate, positioned him to work on some significant projects earning him valuable credibility within the industry. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of San Diego.

An industry leader with almost ten years of senior lending experience, Phillips joined Wells Fargo Capital Finance in 2007 as a Loan Originations Analyst. Over the past six years, Phillips has been an important contributor to the region’s success and has played a significant role in helping strengthen the New England franchise. He has an MBA from Babson College and a Bachelor’s Degree from Bridgewater State University.

“Christian and Andrew have had extraordinary success during their years at Wells Fargo,” stated Jim Marasco, head of loan originations at Wells Fargo Capital Finance. “They are strong contributors to their regions and bring great industry experience to Capital Finance.”

Wells Fargo Capital Finance provides financing solutions for companies in specific industries such as retail, software publishing and high-technology, commercial finance, staffing, government contracting and others.
