FirstMerit Bank Business Credit announced it closed a new $25 million revolving credit loan and term loan facilities to United Milwaukee Scrap, LLC on September 30, 2013.  Proceeds of the facility were used to refinance existing debt and provide for the merger with Shulz’s Recycling, Inc. of Merrill, WI.   

FirstMerit Bank Business Credit provides working capital and term loan facilities to middle –market companies for acquisitions, LBO’s, MBO’s recapitalizations, rapid growth, seasonal working capital build-up, and turnaround situations.

United Milwaukee Scrap, LLC serves the recycling needs of industrial scrap metal generators and consumers across the U.S. including manufacturers, contractors, scrap yard dealers, and the general public.  The combined company has six locations throughout Milwaukee, locations in Merrill and Wausau, WI and offices in Minneapolis and Boston.
