First Citizens Adds Stanley to Middle Market Banking Business

First Citizens Bank hired experienced banker Linda Stanley as a relationship manager in its Middle Market Banking business.

In this role, Stanley will be responsible for developing, maintaining and expanding client and prospect relationships in the middle market financing sector, where the bank is a leader.

Stanley joins the Middle Market Banking business from Bank of America where she served as president of Bank of America Charlottesville and led a team of professionals as market executive for Greater Virginia Commercial Banking.

“Linda has an exceptional skill for developing strong relationships and supporting clients by leveraging the full strength of her financial institution’s capabilities,” said Brendan Chambers, First Citizens’ lead executive for Middle Market Banking.

Earlier in her career at Bank of America, Stanley was market executive for the North Carolina and South Carolina Middle Market Banking team after serving as senior client manager on the SE Middle Market GA/AL Team within the Southeast Region Commercial Banking Group.

Stanley began her career at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and has also worked for Fuji Bank, Kredietbank and SunTrust. She is a native of South Carolina and graduated with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in finance and marketing, as well as a minor in international studies, from the University of South Carolina. She attended the MBA program at Georgia State University.
