Rosenthal Names Vassallo Senior Business Development Officer

Date: Jul 06, 2022 @ 07:45 AM

Rosenthal & Rosenthal announced that Anthony Vassallo has joined Rosenthal as a Senior Business Development Officer in the firm’s New York office.

With more than 25 years of experience in nearly every aspect of secured lending, including new business development, underwriting, portfolio management and loan workout, Vassallo will focus on growing Rosenthal’s ABL division in the Northeast. Before joining Rosenthal, he was SVP for Northeast Business Development at Gibraltar Business Capital, where he covered restructuring professionals, private equity groups, debt advisors and bank special asset groups. Before that, he served in a variety of roles spanning business development, underwriting and portfolio management at Santander Bank, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, GMAC Commercial Credit, CIT Group/Business Credit and the Bank of New York.

“Anthony brings a wealth of experience in successfully executing complex ABL deals with ease,” said Robert Miller, EVP and Head of ABL at Rosenthal. “His expertise will enable us to further penetrate new referral sources, particularly within the private equity and investment banking communities.”

“Anthony is the full package, combining critical credit and underwriting experience with new business skills—all of which strengthen Rosenthal’s position as a go-to resource for factoring, ABL, purchase order financing and e-commerce inventory financing solutions,” said Paul Schuldiner. “He’s a wonderful addition to the team and with his help, I’m confident Rosenthal will continue to increase our market share throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.”

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to join Rosenthal and am always up for taking on new challenges,” said Vassallo. “I look forward to helping Rosenthal forge new connections and partnerships that will help broaden the firm’s network and expand its reach.”
