Date: Aug 04, 2022 @ 07:31 AM

Caltius Structured Capital announced that Kevin Greener has joined its team as a Principal of Business Development.

Greener joined Caltius Structured Capital in July 2022. Based in Massachusetts, Greener is responsible for executing the firm’s strategic business development and deal sourcing efforts, particularly in the Eastern United States. He will focus on engaging intermediaries, lenders, investors, and other deal community participants to source and evaluate new structured capital investment opportunities for the firm.

Greener has over 10 years of private capital investing experience, most recently with Onex Falcon (formerly Falcon Investment Advisors) where he was responsible for originating new investment opportunities across all levels of the capital structure, including senior debt, subordinated debt, and preferred and common equity.  Previously, Greener worked at JMC Capital, a Boston-based private equity firm, and North Atlantic Capital, a venture capital and private equity firm.  Greener received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Williams College.

“We are extremely pleased to have Kevin join the Caltius team. Kevin’s depth of experience will be of great value to Caltius as he focuses on sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities. He is a strong addition to Caltius’ existing group of seasoned investment professionals,” said Jim Upchurch, Chief Executive Officer.

Caltius Structured Capital provides owners of middle market companies throughout the U.S. with capital solutions for liquidity events and growth opportunities. Caltius Structured Capital invests from $7 million to $50 million in companies with positive cash flow, designing flexible capital structures including subordinated debt, minority/structured equity and unitranches. Currently investing from its sixth fund complex, Los Angeles-based Caltius Structured Capital has invested approximately $1.4 billion in over 75 transactions since 1997.
