SG Credit Partners Announces Senior Debt Investment in The Good Crisp Company

Date: May 24, 2023 @ 07:56 AM

SG Credit Partners, through its SG Consumer Products division, announced its partnership with The Good Crisp Company, a dynamic brand of better-for-you snacks that deliver in taste without guilt. Known for their allergen-free potato chips and cheddar cheese balls in the classic canister case, The Good Crisp Company has experienced strong growth over the past few years, and the debt financing will support their continued expansion.

“The Good Crisp Company doesn’t compromise on anything we do, from developing new products to choosing the right financing partner,” says Matt Parry, Founder and CEO of The Good Crisp Company. “SG was the natural choice. Their team has deep industry knowledge and understands what our company needed out of a credit facility.”

In 2014, Parry founded The Good Crisp Company after switching to a gluten-free diet and realizing that his three children would be influenced by his eating habits. He wanted to find a snack that kids would love to eat and parents would feel good about giving, so he began crafting a recipe for the tastiest, natural chip that he could muster. The result was a delicious, gluten-free chip made with clean and simple ingredients that’s free from the eight most common allergens. Today, The Good Crisp Company products can be found nationwide at major retailers such as Walmart, Whole Foods, and CVS, as well as online.

"The Good Crisp Company is an exceptional brand that has built a reputation for creating delicious, gluten-free snacks with clean ingredients," says Evan Waggoner, Director of Originations at SG Consumer Products. "As a leading lender to high-growth consumer brands, we are proud to join forces with such an innovative company and help fuel their journey forward."
