WFCF’s Dean Named Regional Loan Originations Manager in Business Credit Division

Wells Fargo Capital Finance announced Bob Dean has been named regional loan originations manager for the south region of its Business Credit division. In his role, he and his team are responsible for sourcing and structuring flexible asset-based financing for middle-market companies with credit needs ranging from $5 million to $35 million. He is reporting to Steve Bishop, national loan originations manager for the Business Credit Loan Originations team. Dean manages the team covering Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Washington, D.C, Virginia and West Virginia.

“We are thrilled to have Bob on the originations team. Given his experience, he will be a great addition, and he is also very well-respected within the industry,” said Bishop.    

Prior to his new role, Dean was the regional underwriting manager for the Business Credit division of the south region. Dean brings strong relationships and industry knowledge, having been with Wells Fargo Capital Finance for more than 16 years, joining the First Union Commercial Corporation as portfolio manager. He is currently on the Board of the Turnaround Management Association - Carolinas Chapter as well as a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and the Commercial Finance Association. Dean received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Susquehanna University.
