Date: Jan 24, 2024 @ 07:10 AM

Assembled Brands, a leading asset-based lender in the consumer goods sector, announced Zach Martin as its newly appointed Managing Director, Head of Originations & Capital Markets.

Bringing a wealth of experience in asset-based lending and a proven track record in CPG lending, Martin is set to lead Assembled Brands in the expansion of its origination and capital markets efforts. His role will oversee the strategic growth and development of the company's lending portfolio.

Assembled Brands is strategically broadening its focus to support businesses across diverse industries within the consumer goods supply chain. It will provide flexible capital not only to direct-to-consumer brands, but also to companies deeply integrated into the broader CPG industry, including distributors, manufacturers, co-packers, and more. To facilitate this expansion and optimize its offerings for a wider range of businesses, Assembled Brands has appointed Martin to spearhead this strategic evolution. His role is pivotal in enhancing the company’s capabilities and ensuring its ability to serve the dynamic landscape of the consumer goods ecosystem.

Martin joins Assembled Brands after successful tenures at Pacific Mercantile Bank & Manufacturers Bank, where he led the CPG lending groups in both instances. His comprehensive understanding of asset-based lending dynamics and his ability to navigate the evolving financial landscape will be instrumental in shaping the future of the company.

"We are thrilled to welcome Zach as our Head of Originations & Capital Markets," said Michael Lipkin, the CEO of Assembled Brands. "Zach's deep industry knowledge, strategic mindset, and commitment to client success will undoubtedly drive our organization's continued growth and success."
