Trendell Joins Oxford Commercial Finace as Senior Business Development Officer

John Trendell joined Oxford Commercial Finance (OCF) as a Senior Business Development Officer.

John Trendell brings a proven track record in business development and over 22 years of experience in all aspects of Asset-Based Lending (ABL) and Accounts Receivable Financing to his new role as OCF’s VP, Senior Business Development Officer.

“We are excited to have an industry veteran such as John Trendell join the company,” says Mick Goik, President, OCF. “John comes to us with 20-plus years of experience in all aspects of the commercial finance industry. His experience coupled with his work ethic will be a major contribution to the OCF family.”

An energetic leader with an entrepreneurial spirit and pragmatic, collaborative approach, John excels at developing strong client relationships and highly productive networks that consistently fuel business growth. Prior to joining OCF, John worked for over a decade as an Underwriter, Underwriting Manager and New Business Development Officer with Pathward (formerly known as Crestmark), where he sourced, structured and managed new business financing facilities for companies across multiple industries in both the United States and Canada. His tenure also includes roles as SVP-East Division Underwriting Manager at Crestmark; Managing Director at Great Lakes Business Credit LLC, and AVP-Relationship Manager at LaSalle Bank. His professional associations include the Detroit Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association, where he served as the immediate Past President, as well as SFNet and ACG.
