Bibby Financial Services Names Plater Managing Director, South

Bibby Financial Services announced Graham Plater has been promoted to the position of managing director of Bibby Financial Services, South.

In his new role, Plater will be responsible for driving the growth of Bibby Financial Services Southern region by providing cash flow solutions for small- and medium-sized businesses. He will report directly to Leigh Lones, CEO, Americas.

Plater joined Bibby Financial Services in 1997, where he has undertaken various roles in the UK, starting as a business development manager and sales director for Bibby Financial Services, Slough, and working his way up to managing director, and then regional managing director of the UK’s Southern Region.  Before joining Bibby Financial Services, Plater held a number of roles at banks, including Westpac Banking Corporation and Lloyds Bank.

“Graham brings 17 years of experience in invoice finance to his new role in the South region of the Americas. He has a proven track record of success, and with his business finance expertise and understanding of management, we are confident in his ability to lead the team,” said Lones.
