Wells Fargo Capital Finance Expands Middle Market Team in New York

Wells Fargo Capital Finance announced that Patrick Simpson has been named business development officer for the Middle Market Loan Originations team  in New York. In his new role, Patrick is primarily responsible for sourcing and structuring flexible asset-based financings for middle-market companies with credit needs ranging from $5 million to roughly $35 million. Simpson is reporting to Rob Kinne, regional loan originations manager for the Middle Market Loan Originations team, oversees the Northeast region and select areas in Canada.

“Patrick’s depth of experience and transaction skills makes him a great addition to the team,” said Steve Bishop, head of middle market loan originations. “He will continue to provide thoughtful solutions to our referral sources, customers and prospects”.

Simpson joined Wells Fargo Capital Finance in 2005 and has been in various roles while located in the New York, Chicago, Atlanta, and Fort Lauderdale offices.  He received his undergraduate degree and MBA from the University of Florida, and also honorably served in the United States Marine Corp.  He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, Association for Corporate Growth, and Opus Connect. 

Wells Fargo Capital Finance is the trade name for certain asset-based lending services, senior secured lending services, accounts receivable and purchase order finance services, and channel finance services of Wells Fargo & Company and its subsidiaries, and provides traditional asset-based lending, specialized senior and junior secured financing, accounts receivable financing, purchase order financing and channel finance to companies across the United States and internationally.
