Date: Jun 27, 2014 @ 07:06 AM

Deutsche Bank announced two appointments within its Corporate Finance group in North America. Stefan James joins as Managing Director and Head of Corporate Banking Coverage (CBC), North America and Tim King will join as Managing Director and Head of CBC for the Consumer sector. CBC is a multi-product coverage team focused on providing long-term corporate banking services. It is part of the Capital Markets and Treasury Solutions division of Corporate Finance.

James joins the bank from JP Morgan in Chicago where he served as North American Head of Diversified Industries and Midwest Regional Head within the Global Corporate Bank. Prior to this, he spent ten years in Asia with JP Morgan and Bank of America, in various roles in Korea, Japan, and Hong Kong, including serving as Head of Corporate Banking in Asia for Bank of America. James reports to Erich Mauff, Head of North America Capital Markets and Treasury Solutions and King will report to James. Both will be based in Chicago.

King will also join the firm from JP Morgan in September. He has over 15 years of experience focusing on a broad array of corporate and investment banking solutions to clients in the consumer products, healthcare and general industrial sectors.

“Stefan has a strong reputation and track record with corporate clients in North America and abroad,” said Mauff. “His addition will strengthen our CBC franchise and provide additional momentum for our Multinational Coverage (MNC) initiative. As we continue to build-out our corporate banking franchise and grow our market share, we’ll look to Stefan, Tim and the other hires we have made globally to support this growth and provide unique, value-add advice for our clients.”
