For the past seven years employees at Priority One Financial Services, the recreational industry’s oldest and largest F&I outsourcing provider, have volunteered their time to Tampa Bay organizations throughout the month of November. This year Priority One had the opportunity to volunteer to twice as many organizations as in past years.

On November 6th, employees volunteered at two different organizations.  One group helped the Suncoast Hospice Resale Shoppe organize incoming and existing donations at their store located on 49th Street North in Saint Petersburg.  The other group set up for Folkfest 2015, Creative Clay’s annual folk art and music festival.  All proceeds from the festival go to assist the organization in serving hundreds of community members with disabilities and in healthcare settings.

On the following Friday, two different groups of Priority One staff members volunteered at Tampa Bay Watch to harvest plugs of salt marsh from Port Manatee which is then used to plant at Rock Ponds.  The second group of Priority One employees did farm maintenance, painting, gardening and general animal habitat improvement at Horse Power for Kids.

The last groups of Priority One employees volunteered on November 20th at the Faith House and Alpha House of Tampa with sprucing up the facilities and getting them ready for the holiday season.  The Faith House is a transitional living facility and program for individuals  working to recover from alcoholism, drug abuse, incarceration and chronic homelessness. The Alpha House of Tampa offers homeless pregnant women and mothers with young children safe housing and the tools they need to become self-sufficient and effective responsible parents.
