MB Business Capital Hires Janson, Opens New Charlotte Office

MB Business Capital, the asset-based lending division of MB Financial Bank, N.A., announced the appointment of Steve Janson as Senior Vice President. He will be responsible for new business development in North Carolina, South Carolina and SE/SW Virginia. He will be based in MB Business Capital’s new Charlotte, NC office as part of MB’s strategic initiative to expand geographically.

Janson brings over 22 years of banking and finance experience to MB. His prior experience includes serving as a business development officer for PNC Business Credit. Prior to PNC, Janson was a portfolio manager at LaSalle Business Credit, he worked in the corporate finance department at Delta Air Lines, as well as banking experiences with Credit Suisse First Boston and NationsBank.

Janson is a member of the Commercial Finance Association (CFA), Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG). He holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.A. in Economics from Virginia Tech.
