C. Edward Dobbs is a partner in the Atlanta office of Parker, Hudson, Rainer & Dobbs LLP, whose practice for more than 40 years includes the representation of financial institutions in structuring and documenting syndicated loan transactions; the representation of debtors and creditors in workouts and Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases; and the mediation of complex commercial disputes. For the past three years, he has served on the faculty for the ABI/St. Johns Law School bankruptcy mediation course for judges and senior attorneys.

He is the author of two books (one on enforcement of security interests under the UCC and another on Chapter 11 reorganizations); numerous law review articles on commercial law subjects; and a forthcoming treatise on mediation and settlement of commercial disputes.
