Tero Jänne is a Partner and Co-Head of Capital Transformation and Debt Advisory. He joined Solomon Partners in 2020.

Tero advises clients in the oil & gas, healthcare, consumer products, industrials and telecom industries. With more than two decades of experience, he has executed more than 65 transactions with aggregate deal value in excess of $50 billion.

Particular company side experience includes advising ATP Oil & Gas, Atrium Companies, Bally Total Fitness, Beryl Oil & Gas, Crusader Energy, Euramax International, GMX Resources, NewComm Wireless, Omega Navigation, Penn Virginia Corporation, SkyPharma plc, Sonar Entertainment, TerraVia Holdings, and Warren Resources. Creditor side experience includes advising constituents in British Vita plc, Danaos Corporation, Deepwater Horizon Oil Trust, Expro International, Foamex International, Gymboree Corporation, InSight Health Services, Samson Resources, Satmex, SpectraSite Communications and Summit Global Logistics.

Prior to joining Solomon Partners, Tero held senior positions in both the restructuring groups of Rothschild & Co and Jefferies LLC, among other investment banking roles. Tero holds an MSc in European Studies from The London School of Economics and Political Science. He holds a BA in Political Science from Haverford College.
