Madison Capital Funding Closes Sixth CLO Fund

Madison Capital Funding LLC, which focuses on corporate finance solutions for middle-market private equity firms, has closed on its sixth collateralized loan obligation at $325 million.

The new CLO, named MCF CLO VI LLC, will have a 5.5-year reinvestment period, the company said, with proceeds available to partially fund eligible loans. Madison Capital will serve as originator and collateral manager.

Founded in 2001 and a unit of New York Life Insurance Company, Chicago-based Madison Capital supports middle market private equity sponsors with cash flow-based corporate finance solutions across a broad spectrum of industries.

Since inception, the company has invested over $26.2 billion in net funded commitments in over 997 financing transactions with more than 270 PE firms. The company manages more than $8 billion in assets for New York Life and other third-party clients.
