Great Rock Capital, an asset-focused commercial finance company specializing in middle-market lending, announced the hire of Edison Lopez as Senior Vice President of Finance and Jonathan Michaels as an Associate of Underwriting and Portfolio Management.

"We look forward to integrating Edison and Jon into the Great Rock team," commented Stuart Armstrong, Chief Executive Officer. "Their addition will help us build out the critical infrastructure needed to support the continued growth of the Great Rock Capital platform."

Lopez joins Great Rock Capital with over 14 years of experience, most recently as the Vice President of Finance at Centre Lane Partners, where he managed the accounting, operations, treasury, tax and financial reporting for private equity funds. He has also served as the Director of Financial Reporting and Accounting at Plainfield Asset Management. Mr. Lopez received his B.A. in Business Administration from Pace University.

Michaels has joined as an Associate of Underwriting and Portfolio Management. Mr. Michaels was previously part of General Electric Corporation's Financial Management Program, in which he served as an Integrated Systems Analyst and Supply Chain Operations Analyst. Mr. Michaels received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Vermont.
