On September 20, hundreds gathered at The Pierre New York to celebrate the recipients of the Commercial Finance Association's CFA 40 Under 40 Awards. The Awards honor the achievements of rising stars in the commercial finance industry. Steven Gold, President & CEO, Allied Financial, was the recipient of the CFA Leadership Award and Rob Frohwein, Co-founder & Kabbagehead of Kabbage gave the keynote address, sharing the ups and downs of his career and what he learned along the way.
Now in its third year, the Award celebrates the achievements of young professionals in the commercial finance industry — movers and shakers who exemplify true excellence in their careers and who bring a strong voice and commitment to the industry at large.
Jeffrey Goldrich of North Mill Capital and Kate Lepak of People’s United Business Capital served as Chair and Vice Chair respectively of the 2018 CFA 40 Under 40 Awards Committee.
David Grende of Siena Lending served as Chair of the 40 Under 40 Leadership Council. David Kurzweil of Greenberg Traurig and Sheri Fenenbock were judges along with Lepak and Goldrich.
"CFA’s 40 Under 40 Award has quickly become a sought-after award which can have a significant impact on one’s career,” said Goldrich. “This award is not only a reflection of the recipients, but also of their nominators and organizations. They should all be very proud.”
