FTI Consulting Continues Global Investment in Business Transformation Practice

FTI Consulting, Inc. announced continued investment in its Business Transformation practice with the recent addition of five U.S.-based professionals and the expansion of Business Transformation services to China with the appointment of Senior Managing Director Bill He as Leader of the Business Transformation practice in Shanghai. 

The recent hires include Senior Managing Director Jiva Jagtap and Managing Directors Kurt Eichhorn, Greg Kuhn, John Singel and James Wolf. He relocated to Shanghai from McLean, Va., to lead the firm’s Business Transformation offering in Asia.

Working with FTI Consulting’s industry specialists, the Business Transformation practice unites more than 600 professionals from across the firm globally. These dedicated experts focus supporting transactions, driving revenue growth, reducing operating and supply chain costs, optimizing people, transforming finance functions and processes, and unlocking value through strategic information technology (“IT”) enablement across the enterprise.

In his new leadership role, He will work with clients across Asia, with a particular focus on China. He has over 25 years of experience in global operations strategy, business development, product design, sourcing and international and multi-culture business. Together with his team, Mr. He plans and delivers procurement value, resulting in significant bottom-line impact in challenging global environments. His experience includes global strategic sourcing and supplier collaboration, change management, performance improvement, business process design, technology integration, sales and marketing and online sales strategy and execution.

Jagtap, based in Denver, rejoins FTI Consulting and brings over 20 years of experience advising companies on complex assignments in the telecommunications, media and technology industry, including carve-outs, merger integration and business strategy. Jagtap provides extensive experience in the areas of due diligence, restructuring, deal structuring and negotiation, and performance improvement, such as customer segmentation, product profitability and overall business planning and budgeting.

Eichhorn, based in New York, has more than 25 years of corporate and consulting experience, transforming businesses through organic growth, mergers and acquisitions, complex carve-outs, operational improvements, back-office consolidation and restructurings. He offers deep expertise in the chemicals and industrial sectors and has led due diligence and synergy valuation teams for regional and cross-border transactions as large as $8 billion in enterprise value.

Kuhn, based in Washington, D.C., has more than 30 years of strategic IT experience and has consulted with a wide range of small, mid-market and global companies. He has deep experience across multiple industries, including software, utilities, financial services, airlines, healthcare, manufacturing, professional services and interactive entertainment. Mr. Kuhn is an expert in enterprise resource planning applications across the entire quote-to-cash lifecycle, including customer relationship management, order management, sourcing, fulfillment and accounts receivable.

Singel, based in Dallas, has more than 25 years of consulting experience in all aspects of strategic IT across many industries, including telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, manufacturing, aerospace, financial services, insurance, state and local governments, consumer products, utilities and automotive. He specializes in operational effectiveness, digital transformation, process improvement, and cost optimization, business intelligence/analytics, mergers and acquisitions, organizational change and strategic alignment. Singel has architected and led multi-million-dollar, multi-year process improvement and IT transformation programs that have resulted in a more than 15 percent reduction in current-state IT spend for multiple clients.

Wolf, based in Charlotte, has more than 15 years of interim chief financial officer and executive experience. He provides executive finance leadership consulting to Fortune 500 and middle-market private equity portfolio companies. Wolf leverages his analytical capabilities to create actionable intelligence and improve pricing, operating efficiencies and cash flows Wolf has led efforts to improve controllership over enterprise accounting, financial planning and analysis (“FP&A”) and treasury, and has extensive experience guiding organizations through complex carve-outs, IPOs and other capital markets transactions.
