March 17, 2020, 08:55 AM

AlixPartners, the global consulting firm, announced that consumer products and digital expert Rob DeNardo has joined as a Managing Director in the firm’s worldwide consumer products practice. He will be based in AlixPartners’ Chicago office.

Rob brings more than 20 years of strategy and operations experience, helping companies define transformations to deliver exceptional value and to enable competitive advantage and growth with proven results. In addition to North America, he has also worked extensively in Europe and Asia.

Rob joins AlixPartners following 13 years at Strategy& (formerly Booz & Company), a subsidiary of PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was most recently a partner and the firm’s leader in the US for both supply chain consulting and digital supply chain consulting. In that latter role, Rob built new market offerings incorporating digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and predictive analytics. His work has included digital and supply chain transformation for a $15 billion food company and digital and value chain transformation for a $15 billion snacks company.

Earlier in his career, Rob spent nine years at Texas Instruments Inc., where he was a systems engineer in the semiconductor sales group.

Rob holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and both master’s and bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

“Rob’s deep experience in operations, supply chain, and digital will be of great value to companies facing disruption today,” said Simon Freakley, CEO of AlixPartners. “He is a great addition to AlixPartners, and to our offerings to clients. We are delighted to welcome Rob to our team.”
