Alvarez & Marsal Appoints Dustman MD in Corporate Performance Improvement Practice

Alvarez & Marsal appointed Chicago-based Eric Dustman a Managing Director in its Corporate Performance Improvement practice. Dustman brings deep expertise in operations and supply chain performance improvement and transformation. His appointment advances the firm’s supply chain offering and reaffirms its commitment to drive transformative change amidst a shifting macroeconomic

Dustman brings more than 25 years of operator and advisor experience serving the industrials, high-tech, consumer products, financial services and chemicals sectors. He specializes in developing and executing solutions that achieve sustained improvement to margin, operational efficiency and market performance. Mr. Dustman has extensive expertise leading performance improvement, digitally-enabled transformation, M&A, carve-out and operational initiatives that span product portfolio, manufacturing, sourcing, fulfillment and services with end-to-end scope.

Dustman has led multiple supply chain transformations which streamlined and integrated operations to maximize value and achieve material competitive advantage for clients. Recently, he led multi-functional initiatives for a global industrial company that optimized costs and increased variety while reducing complexity by 20 percent and working capital by 30 percent.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Dustman led Strategy and Operations competencies in PwC’s Industrial Products and Services sector. Additionally, he served as a Partner with Booz & Company, formerly Booz Allen Hamilton, where he led the Sourcing & Procurement and Working Capital offerings. Mr. Dustman previously held global engineering, product management and operations leadership roles with a leading telecommunications original equipment manufacturer (OEM).
