Driscoll Named One of Long Island’s Top 50 Most Influential Women in Business

Theresa A. Driscoll, a partner at Moritt Hock & Hamroff, has been named by Long Island Business News as a member of its Top 50 Most Influential Women In Business for 2021. The award recognizes the significant contributions of women professionals to the region’s economy and to the communities in which we do business.

Driscoll serves as Chair of the firm’s Bankruptcy Practice Group. Ms. Driscoll concentrates her practice in the representation of corporate debtors, lenders, trustees and unsecured creditors in all aspects of financial restructuring including workouts, chapter 11 cases and bankruptcy litigation.  During the past 15 years, Ms. Driscoll has aided in the successful reorganization of businesses in chapter 11 and also has obtained favorable outcomes for creditors, including lenders, in distressed situations. Ms. Driscoll is a member of the Turnaround Management Association – Long Island Chapter where she currently serves on its Board of Directors and as Secretary, having previously served as President in 2020. In 2020, she was recognized by the Secured Finance Network (SFNet) as one of its Top Women in Commercial Finance for her outstanding achievements and leadership in the secured finance sector. Ms. Driscoll earned her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from St. John’s University School of Law.
