Alvarez & Marsal’s Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG) has expanded into the Dallas market with the appointments of Managing Director, Andrew Allard, and Senior Director, Andrew Oesterling. These new hires represent the next U.S. phase of TAG’s strategic global expansion alongside recent senior hires in Italy, Switzerland, Spain and the United Arab Emirates.

Together, Mr. Allard and Mr. Oesterling bring more than 20 years of transaction advisory expertise and value creation to A&M and its clients. Their joining demonstrates the firm’s commitment to the market and to providing new opportunities for local transaction advisory professionals.

Mr. Allard focuses on international and domestic buy-side, sell-side and related transaction advisory services for private equity and strategic clients. He specializes in financial due diligence, pre-deal structuring advice, commentary on the financial aspects of sale and purchase agreements, and post-closing transaction support including complex working capital disputes. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Allard served as a Managing Director in KPMG’s Deal Advisory practice.

Mr. Oesterling has in-depth transaction and public accounting experience, specializing in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence for private equity firms and strategic buyers. He has extensive manufacturing, distribution, consumer products and business services sector knowledge. Prior to A&M, Mr. Oesterling was with KPMG’s Deal Advisory practice and he most recently served as a Vice President with Houlihan Lokey’s Transaction Advisory group.

“A&M’s strategic growth plan is in response to market demand. Mr. Allard and Mr. Oesterling are key to our Dallas-based leadership and value creation capabilities. Their knowledge of regional private equity firms and corporates advances our ability to help clients maximize local, national and global opportunities,” said Paul Aversano, a Managing Director and Global Practice Leader of the Global Transaction Advisory Group.

“Dallas, along with the rest of the U.S., is emerging from COVID-19 amidst significant dry powder. The ability to navigate complex issues will be critical,” said Anthony Caporrino, a Managing Director and U.S. Practice Leader for A&M's Global Transaction Advisory Group. “Mr. Allard’s and Mr. Oesterling’s expertise aligns with A&M’s operational heritage and strengthens our ability to solve for local market needs along with broader concerns.”

Mr. Allard said, “TAG’s expansion into Dallas provides unique opportunities for the clients we serve and for the team of professionals we are building. A&M’s integrated platform and freedom from audit conflicts enables us to capitalize on local opportunities while serving as the region’s gateway for clients around the country and the world.”
