Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has further expanded and enhanced its digital transformation offerings by adding Frederic Ramioulle, a Detroit-based, 30-year industry veteran, as a Managing Director with the firm’s Automotive & Industrials Group.

Ramioulle specializes in large scale transformation, performance improvement and digital innovation. He provides more than three decades of consulting and senior executive experience in the automotive, aerospace, high tech and engineering services sectors.

Ramioulle joins A&M from A.T. Kearney where he served as a partner in the Automotive and Transportation practice specializing in large transformation programs and the development of new operating models leveraging the latest information technologies.  Previously he served in a variety of industry and consulting positions, including as a Partner with McKinsey & Co. In these roles, Mr. Ramioulle guided significant turnaround efforts in the U.S. passenger car, commercial truck and business aircraft OEM sectors. As part of the McKinsey Design-to-Value practice, he drove large engagements in the automotive, industrial and medical equipment sectors.

“As the automotive industry faces disruptive forces and considers new challenges, such as the acceleration of electric vehicles, our operational heritage and history of driving change will help clients leverage their opportunities,” said Rick Kozole, Managing Director Leader of A&M’s Automotive & Industrials Group. “Frederic’s wide-ranging perspective coupled with his vast automotive sector transformation experience will help our clients navigate supply chain, operational and cost structure concerns to deliver results during this time of critical change.”

A&M’s Automotive Group uses its industry experience and leadership to help auto manufacturers, suppliers and retailers transform operations as they grapple with a slew of uncertainties impacting everything from the availability, price and transport of raw materials to consumer preferences and expectations.

Ramioulle has helped large U.S. and European transportation companies with fundamental performance improvements as well as driving comprehensive digital transformation efforts. His work led to the creation of new operating models to drive step changes in profitability and the creation of a new SaaS offering accessible to industry participants of all sizes.

Ramioulle also played major action-oriented roles at Infosys and KPIT, where he led large engineering organizations that provided complex mechanical, electronics and software system design and development services for global clients. He spent six years building and running the Honeywell business innovation center. Ramioulle served the first eight years of his career in the automotive fuel system sector.
