Assembled Brands recently closed a new $1.5 million facility with apparel brand WILDFANG.

The brand was founded in Portland, Oregon by Emma Mcllroy on a mission to rethink gender norms and how they show up in fashion. After discovering that most retail brands offered limited apparel options that lacked the message of inclusivity and body positivity, the entrepreneur set out to change the industry for the better through WILDFANG. Its clothing pieces offer a refreshing take on go-to essentials in an industry that is still clinging to outdated gender norms. Most famous for their one-piece dressing and H2T suiting with real pockets (ground-breaking!)

With a strong emphasis on diversity, sustainability, and giving back to good causes, WILDFANG goes beyond just selling fashionable clothes. Since its inception, the brand has put in place initiatives such as the intentional inclusion of diverse and variously identified members on its board and team besides other policies. Its factories are also ISO14001 certified, meaning they meet set standards for energy and water conservation and waste water management.

WILDFANG mainly sells its products direct-to-consumer on their website, but you can also get your hands on the brand’s popular apparel by visiting its 2 brick-and-mortar stores in Portland, OR and Los Angeles, CA.

The company has doubled in growth each year since 2020, and Assembled Brands is supporting the revolutionary apparel brand with a $1.5MM line of credit to help scale the business. With the extra capital, the brand is able to grow its inventory positions and scale the business month over month without limitation.

WILDFANG has great things planned for 2022, such as expanding their product assortment to continue to challenge gender norms, working with incredible ambassadors and influencers, giving back to charity through Pledge 1% commitment, and going climate neutral.

“We’re here to empower everyone to challenge the gender norms that hold us back. Whether that’s hanging with our incredible store staff or getting the perfect fitting blazer to dominate the boardroom room or an interview. We got you. Wear you, not someone else.” - Amy, Head of Growth of Wildfang

Assembled Brands was founded on a desire to help growing brands finance their growth through revolving lines of credit supported by inventory, receivables and purchase orders.
