Palmer Joins First Business Bank as Vice President - Accounts Receivable Financing

First Business Bank added Kristen Palmer to its subsidiary, First Business Specialty Finance, as Vice President and a Business Development Officer in its Accounts Receivable Financing group.

“We are very excited to have Kristen on our team,” said Bill Elliott, President of First Business Bank’s Accounts Receivable Financing group. “We are impressed with the visibility that she has achieved in the market and believe that she will be a significant contributor for us, both with respect to new business opportunities as well as to our internal culture.”

Palmer brings more than a decade of experience in the financial services industry to her role at First Business Bank. She has held key positions with several specialty commercial finance lenders, where she structured revolving lines of credit, analyzed risk, and managed underwriting processes. Palmer's hands-on experience allows her to provide tailored solutions that meet our clients' unique needs to boost cash flow, helping them achieve their business goals and maintain a competitive edge.

Palmer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University. Since 2018, Kristen has been active within the South Florida financial community, serving as President of the South Florida Chapter of the Secured Finance Network (SFNet). This commitment to industry engagement and continuous learning ensures that she remains at the forefront of industry trends and best practices, allowing her to deliver the highest level of service to our clients.

The Accounts Receivable Financing team finances a broad range of businesses from start-ups to companies with revenues of over $100 million.
