Rite Aid Prepares Chapter 11 Bankruptcy to Restructure Debts, Bloomberg Report

Bloomberg reported that Rite Aid Corp. is preparing a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing to restructure debts including opioid liabilities, according to people familiar wiht the matter.

According to the Bloomberg report, advisers to the pharmacy chain have entered confidential discussions to develop a plan ahead of the filing.
