Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking announced the appointment of Bhaswar (Joy) Chatterjee as Global Head of Real Assets and Global Trade Syndicate.

In his new role, Chatterjee will have a particular focus on loan distribution for Infrastructure & Energy Transition, Real Estate, Aviation and Global Trade Finance verticals. He will continue to be based out of Natixis’ NYC office.

Chatterjee initially joined Natixis in 2016 as Co-Head of Credit Syndicate and Head of Private Debt Distribution for the Americas and has over 25 years’ experience in credit products. Prior to joining Natixis, he worked at Deutsche Bank as Global Co-Head of the Infrastructure and Energy Finance business, responsible for originations, syndications and portfolio.

He will report globally to Karim Mezani, Global Head of Syndicate and Loan Distribution and locally to Michael Sierko, Head of Distribution and Portfolio Management, Americas.
