Grant Thornton named Lisa Heacock its new market managing partner for Portland and the Seattle metro area.

Heacock has served in a succession of leadership roles for the firm along the West Coast, and she possesses more than 25 years of experience in the audit and advisory spaces. Further, her experience spans multiple industries, including technology, entertainment, healthcare, hospitality and manufacturing. She also has deep experience helping clients with mergers and acquisitions needs.

Nichole Jordan, Grant Thornton’s national managing partner of Geography, says Heacock’s diverse array of experiences will help clients successfully navigate challenges unique to their industries.

“Grant Thornton is bringing personalized industry solutions to our clients in every market we serve, and experienced leaders like Lisa are providing the strategic guidance that makes it all possible,” Jordan said.

Prior to this new role, Heacock was a partner in Grant Thornton’s Los Angeles office, and before that, she served as a managing director in the same office for over four years. In that time, she worked with accounting and finance executives to provide transformation advisory services to clients in Southern California and across the country.

Before her time at Grant Thornton, Heacock held several leadership roles at accounting and consulting firms across the country, as well as multiple biotechnology firms.

“I’ve always admired Lisa’s ability to merge deep industry knowledge with a talent for organizing and leading effective teams,” said Tony Perazzo, Grant Thornton’s West region managing partner. “She embodies Grant Thornton’s approach to people-focused leadership, and I’m looking forward to collaborating with her and our talented colleagues as we continue to propel growth in our Seattle and Portland markets.”
