Pontano advises clients on public and private securities offerings and complex structured finance transactions across various asset classes. He represents a diverse range of stakeholders, including lenders, borrowers, underwriters, issuers, asset managers, and originators. In addition to structured finance transactions, he also regularly assists clients with asset-based lending, mezzanine and subordinate debt financing arrangements, and asset flow and portfolio sale transactions.

“We’re pleased to welcome Andrew as the leader of the firm’s asset finance & securitization team, which is a core part of our leading global finance practice. With his depth and breadth of experience and commitment to client service, his leadership will be instrumental in harnessing the opportunities that lie ahead for the team,” says co-chair of Dechert’s global finance practice, John Timperio.

The firm routinely represents clients in the acquisition, servicing and financing of many asset classes including auto loans, unsecured consumer loans, credit card receivables, equipment leases, residential mortgage loans, servicing rights, student loans and trade receivables as well as more esoteric asset classes.
