TD Bank has named Don Baker Commercial Market President of Northern New England. In this expanded role, Baker will lead the commercial and small business banking teams in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.

“Don is a well-respected and deeply experienced banking professional throughout the northern New England business community," said Sheryl McQuade, Regional President, New England. “I'm very confident Don's leadership will drive optimal collaboration and partnership across our entire team as we continue to enrich the lives of our customers, colleagues and communities across New England."

Baker has more than 30 years of banking experience. He most recently served as TD's Commercial Market President for Vermont, where he was responsible for the growth and expansion of commercial and small business lending and deposits in the state. Prior to assuming this role, Baker served in middle market and commercial leadership roles, including the Vermont Market President & Team Leader, Middle Market, at Key Bank.

"I am thrilled to work with TD's long-standing teams as well as our network of community and business organizations as we expand on our roots in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont," Baker said. "I look forward to growing our customer and community relationships across northern New England." Baker will maintain offices in all three states.

Beyond his work with TD, Baker sits on the board of the Lake Champlain Opportunity Fund and is a member of the Vermont Business Roundtable. He is a former board member of the Lake Champlain Chamber, Vermont Bankers Association and Greater Burlington Multicultural Resource Center. Baker received his bachelor's degree from Colby College in Waterville, ME, and his master's in business administration from Saint Michael's College in Colchester, VT.
