Bank of America Names Ahdunko President of Bank of America Reno

September 08, 2025, 07:43 AM

Bank of America has named Jamie Ahdunko, Preferred Banking strategic values initiatives manager, president of Bank of America Reno. She succeeds Andrew Diedrichsen, who led the market since 2019 and will continue as Business Banking senior relationship manager.

As president and head of the market, Ahdunko will connect clients, teammates and communities to the full power of the franchise and drive integration across our eight lines of business. She will oversee our efforts to grow market share by fostering local connections and identifying opportunities to grow and deepen our client relationships.

“Throughout her career with Bank of America, Jamie has held leadership positions and established deep relationships with teammates and the community to deliver responsible growth,” said Brian Moynihan, Bank of America chair and chief executive officer. “Jamie is well positioned to build on Andrew’s success and continue to grow our presence in Reno, delivering the full breadth of Bank of America’s capabilities to help our local clients improve their financial lives.”

Ahdunko joined the company in 2010 and has held several leadership roles in Consumer Banking, including performance, operations and business support. As the Preferred Banking manager, she’s responsible for leading the renovation and investment prioritization programs for financial centers and ATMs across the U.S. She’s been a central member of the Reno leadership team for nearly a decade.

Ahdunko is passionate about engaging with teammates and the community. She’s an active member of the bank’s employee networks. In addition, she’s a member of the University of Nevada Alumni Association and a past board member of Junior Achievement of Northern Nevada and March of Dimes.

In his time as president, Diedrichsen was instrumental in growing market share and delivering the full breadth of the company to local clients and the community. He expanded relationships and worked to develop the next generation of talent by establishing a multi-year collaboration with the Dean’s Future Scholars program at University of Nevada Reno.
