SSG Capital Advisors served as the investment banker to Hometeam Technologies, Inc. d/b/a Vesta Healthcare (“Vesta” or the “Company”) in the sale of its clinical services business to an affiliate of Essen Health Care (“Essen”). The transaction closed in October 2025.
Founded in 2018, the Company’s clinical business provides technology-enabled in-home healthcare to seniors and high-risk populations. Through its integrated clinical platform, the Company combines 24/7 telehealth support, remote patient monitoring, and caregiver engagement tools to connect real-time observations with patient health data. Leveraging its extensive nationwide referral network and advanced monitoring capabilities, the Company delivers measurably improved outcomes, reduces avoidable emergency room visits and hospitalizations, and enhances the overall patient and caregiver experience.
Vesta engaged SSG in late August 2025 to evaluate strategic alternatives for its clinical business. SSG conducted a highly accelerated and targeted marketing process focused on acquirers that are active in home-based care, population health management, and technology-enabled clinical services. Leveraging its deep experience in healthcare and special situations, SSG secured multiple indications of interest for the Company's clinical services business. The transaction with Essen transfers Vesta’s proprietary technology, clinical infrastructure, and associated assets to an Essen affiliate, preserving continuity of care for thousands of vulnerable patients. SSG’s disciplined execution and ability to complete a complex transaction in less than 60 days produced an outcome that maximized stakeholder value, preserved jobs, and enabled an orderly transition.
